The Hell Missionaries are a major antagonistic team of the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
The Hell Missionaries is a wrestling tag team comprised of Neptune King and Neptuneman, acting as the main antagonists of the Dream Chojin Tag Arc.
Relationship
Neptuneman has an immense amount of respect for Neptune King, viewing his teachings as the truth and that the weak Chojin should either be killed or subjugated. It wasn't until Neptune King used a weapon, breaking the Perfect Chojin laws that Neptuneman would lose faith in him.
Neptune King, despite being Neptuneman's teacher, acts more like his loyal minion, often bowing before Neptuneman and being the one to grab the masks before presenting them to Neptune King. This is later revealed to be a facade so he can manipulate Neptuneman easier.
Biography
Neptuneman, named Quarrelman at the time, and Neptune King would first meet when Neptuneman threw himself into the River Thames in order to kill himself because he knew he'd never be able to fight an opponent on his level. Neptune King would save Neptuneman, offering him a place among the Perfect Chojin who are as strong as he is. The two would fly away in order to train.
Years later, during the Universal Chojin Tag Tournament, Neptuneman and Neptune King would appear in disguise under the Hell Missionaries tag team and make a plan to have the Perfect Chojin Vanguard wait in space to invade Earth.
The two would mostly stay silent until Killer Game Combo tag team appeared and was defeated by Buffaloman and Mongolman at which point they would unveil their identity so Neptune King could kill Screw Kid and Neptuneman could kill Kendaman for being defeated and breaking the Perfect Chojin laws.
After this, the Hell Missionaries would battle against Robin Mask and Warsman, knocking out the former and killing the latter while stealing their masks. Next, the Hell Missionaries would beat down the Stray Devil Chojin Combo after they lost to Kinnikuman and Terryman, stealing Ashuraman's three masks and killing Sunshine (Kinnikuman). During the next round, they would battle and defeat Buffaloman and Mongolman, knocking the former out and stealing the mask of the latter, leaving him as a vegetable.
In the tournament's final round, the Hell Missionaries would battle against the Muscle Brothers, Kinnikuman and Terryman. The two would start to lose to Kinnikuman and Terryman, failing to steal his mask as Neptune King attacks Terryman with a weapon, breaking the Perfect Chojin laws and making Neptuneman realise that Neptune King was a hypocrite. Soon after this, Kinnikuman and Terryman would use the Muscle Docking on Neptuneman and Neptune King, killing the latter and knocking out the former.
When the Perfect Chojin Vanguard is ready to invade Earth, Neptuneman would set off a bomb, notifying the Perfect Chojin Vanguard to retreat while killing himself.
Powers and Abilities
- Perfect Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin blessed by The Man himself, Neptune King and Neptuneman have immense strength, speed and durability far above most other Chojin who already have the ability to perform superhuman feats. Additionally, due to being a Perfect Chojin, Neptune King and Neptuneman don't age at all, staying at their peak physical age after millions of years. Other abilities that Chojin have that Neptune King and Neptuneman likely have are the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
