Jinx is the secondary antagonist in the Disney Channel TV series The Ghost and Molly McGee.
She is a ghost who works for The Ghost Council as a Joy Hunter, seeking out and destroying powerful sources of joy. She later becomes determined to destroy Scratch and Molly McGee for spreading joy in Brighton, violating the ghost code and killing The Chairman.
She was voiced by Liza Koshy in her first villainous role.
Jinx is a slender, light purple ghost with shoulder-length curly hair, a pink nose and yellow eyes.
Personality
Jinx is very obedient and loyal to the ghost code, The Chairman and the Barrister Ghosts, whom call her "the most ruthless joy hunter". She is always determined to find the cause of joy and eliminate it no matter what happens, utterly despising anything that is joy-related.
She first tries to be friendly with Scratch, but after he starts to play dumb on her, she gets desperate and begins to treat him bad, ultimately bringing him to the Council to punish him for being friends with a human, however it was later revealed that this behavior was only a facade to manipulate and give Scratch a false sense of security so he could make her mission easier.
It should be noted that Jinx herself has proven to be very sadistic, as she is seen smiling and taking pleasure in almost killing Molly McGee, a human child, with no remorse to it.
Despite the fact that she has a very cruel nature, Jinx is not incapable of fear, as she was genuinely shocked when Molly's joy destroyed the Flow of Failed Phantoms and was absolutely horrified when she also destroyed The Chairman with a single touch, even refusing to stop her from leaving with Scratch with a fight.
Jinx has also shown to have a motherly side around those who share her ideals, but it is most obvious around sobgoblins, she speaks softly towards them when everything is "as it should be" as seen when she addressed one of them as "little sobgoblin" and asked what it was carrying to her.
Unlike the rest of the ghosts, Jinx didn’t accept Scratch as the Chairman or the new rules and will do anything to avenge the original one and bring back the original way of the ghost world.
Powers and Abilities
Jinx posseses the normal powers of a ghost like levitation, intangibility, invisibility, teleportation, shapeshifting, dimensional travel, and presumably both curse-bidding and possession.
Apart from that, Jinx is able to summon a blue scythe that she uses as a weapon and she has shown to be efficient using it, she tries to murder Molly McGee using this weapon. Jinx is also seen having possession of mechanical gadgets that allow her to track any source of joy in the Human World.
She can also control and command the Sobgoblins and use them as her minions.
While this is more of a trick she invented than an actual power, as any soul living or dead can do this apparently, Jinx is able to trick people into partaking in the cursed jinxing game she made up and named after herself: when she and someone else (most effectively, another ghost) says the same thing at the same time and she says "jinx", that other soul finds they have bad luck every time they speak until she says the victim's name three times around them, whether on purpose or not. She isn't immune to her own trick, however, as this same curse can be used against her.
After obtaining the Chairman’s cloak, Jinx’s power became much stronger, going as far as to recreate the Flow of Failed Phantoms.

Trivia
Jinx was shown to be able to toss Geoff into The Flow of Failed Phantoms, it still hasn't been explained if regular ghosts can also do that (While the portal is opened), if Jinx possessed that ability because she worked for the council or if only The Chairman has that power and this was an error.
Regular ghosts may be just able to toss someone into the Flow while the portal is opened, because Pango is seen doing the same in "Scare Tactics".
Jinx is named after the superstition of bad luck, which is befitting for her job.
