Katarou is an antagonist from the Teen Titans show and the main antagonist of the episode, The Quest. He is an Asian villain and an enemy of Robin, the leader of the Teen Titans.
He is voiced by Keone Young.
History
Katarou first fought Robin when he was raiding a store in Jump City. He defeats Robin and tells him that if he wanted to be a better fighter, he should train with the True Master, and stole the staff. When Robin goes to Asia to train under the True Master, Katarou follows him so that he would be apprenticed instead.
After Robin defeats the three masters and learns their new experiences, he comes face to face with Katarou. With his newfound fighting skills, Robin manages to defeat Katarou. Angered by this Katarou attacks Robin, stating that the True Master must train him, but the True Master, who was witnessing Robin’s newfound strength, stops him, denouncing him as a thief and a cheater and will not ever train him, and was taken off the mountain. It is presumed Katarou was sent to prison for his actions.
At some time, Katarou was recruited into the Brotherhood of Evil. Under the Brotherhood's orders, he successively captured Bushido. However, when the Titans fought the villains in the Brotherhood's base, Bushido got his revenge on Katarou by stomping on his face, which knocked him out. He was defeated along with his fellow villains afterwards.
Powers and Abilities
Katarou is a master martial artist both in armed and unarmed combat.
