Klaus (Call of Duty)

A pet project of Dr. Elizabeth Grey, Klaus was deactivated after killing three operators in Berlin. Klaus’s programmed personality exhibits many traits typical of flesh-and-blood humans, but he appears to lack any understanding of their limits or fragility. Formerly restrained in a Berlin Safe House, he is now free and ready for deployment in any theater of war.Black Ops 6 bio.

Klaus is a supporting character and minor antagonist in the Intel files featured in the zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and a playable character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Biography

Klaus was created on January 12th, 1985 in Germany by Dr. Elizabeth Grey as part of a Requiem project. The next day, Edward Richtofen stole Klaus and sent him to a top secret CIA facility in Berlin. Upon realizing her creation is missing, Grey confronts the Requiem Senior Staff, and Grigori Weaver then stated that Richtofen sent him to Berlin, Germany to erase anything linking toward the mainframe.

1985

After his arrival on the 28th, Richtofen secretly programmed Klaus to murder Bedard, Rico, James, Jack and Jones after they intercepted a file regarding Project Janus. Klaus then broke into Bedard's room and strangled him to death. Upon seeing the CCTV footage, Rico has him strapped to a chair and cuts off his hands. However, the following night Klaus freed himself and strangled Jack to death and was unplugged and beaten by Rico. On the 30th, he intercepted a video link from Rico stating James and Jones's deaths after trying to deliver the warhead. After Rico's death trying to also deliver the warhead, Klaus was captured by Janus operatives and deprogrammed.
