Biography

After the murder of his brother Thor on Earth, Loki and Asgardian soldiers came to the planet to seek revenge. Upon their arrival, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury confronted them, and Loki utilized the Casket of Ancient Winters to fight back. Fury persuaded Loki to give him until sunrise to track down the murderer of his brother, to which Loki agreed.

Fury reached out to Loki and had him disguise as him to meet with Hank Pym, who had slain the canditates for the Avengers initiative, including Thor, and was later apprehended. Taking advantage of this, Loki declared himself ruler of the planet, which induced Fury to contact Captain Marvel and enlist the frozen Captain America to depose him.

After some time, Loki led his army in a battle against the Avengers, which was made up of only Captain America and Captain Marvel, and S.H.I.E.L.D. As he had Nick Fury shoved to the floor of the Helicarrier, he was unexpectedly kicked in the face by Black Widow from an alternate universe. Startled, Loki exclaimed in surprise since he had been told that she had been murdered. Taking the Loki's Scepter, Romanoff used it to put Loki in a neutralized position.
