Overlord Drakuru is a minor antagonist in World of Warcraft. He is an ice troll who is first encountered as a prisoner at Granite Springs in the Grizzly Hills. After he tricks the player into lowering Drak'tharon Keep's defenses, Drakuru eventually rises up to become an Overlord of the Scourge and ruling the necropolis of Voltarus in Zul'Drak. Drakuru is fiercely loyal to the Lich King and the Scourge, and he is intolerant for failure.

Biography

The adventurer encountered Drakuru at Granite Springs. Drakuru offering to share his knowledge of Drak'tharon Keep with the character. He guides them in a journey to collect several artifacts but reveals that he was actually betraying the Drakkari Empire to the Lich King. Drakuru is charged with 'cleansing' Zul'Drak by the Lich King. He offers the adventurer a position in Zul'Drak. In a final showdown, Drakuru summons the Lich King for help but he beheads Drakuru for his failure.
