NP 0532, also known as RPC-548 or The Hateful Star, is an Omega-Black RPC and a minor antagonist of the RPC Authority mythos. It is a sapient star moving towards the Solar System to collide with Earth.
Personality
RPC-548 demonstrates a deep hate for humanity, with its only goal being to destroy Earth and annihilate humankind.
RPC-548 also demonstrates a cruel and sadistic personality, insulting others by using the information it knows about them. It's also speaks in a very childish way.
Biography
RPC-548 was discovered in 1942 by various scientific organizations, but its anomalous nature was not known until 1968 when it was discovered that it was accelerating towards Earth and pulsing in Morse code.
Since then, the RPC Authority kept observing the star carefully, who kept communicating through insults. Notably, it insulted an Authority Director and then transmitted some image files involving the Director's past.
It was also seemingly responsible for the major solar flare on 11/4/2003.
As of now, RPC-548 is still moving towards Earth, and the Authority has seemingly no way to stop it.
