For a long time, no one in the house dreamed that they had a creature living in the refrigerator, behind the mayonnaise, next to the ketchup, and to the left of the cole slaw. The Creature That Lived in the Refrigerator, Behind the Mayonnaise, Next to the Ketchup and to the Left of the Cole Slaw (also known as the Creature That Lived in the Refrigerator or simply the Refrigerator Creature) is a minor antagonist from the Garfield franchise, serving as the titular main antagonist from the episode of the "same name" from the animated series Garfield and Friends.
This is a culinary entity accidentally created by Jon Arbuckle for the meal with Garfield and Odie, although his pets refused this poor quality recipe, although it was put in the fridge, it gave vis to a monstrous creature that wreaks havoc throughout the Arbuckles' house until it is defeated by Garfield alone with the help of a box of baking soda.

Personality
When the Refrigerator Creature is born, it begins to destroy and vandalize everything in its path, it can be greedy like for example it eats a watermelon while spitting out the seeds, but when Jon is warned by his cat, he discovers that the Refrigerator Creature wreaks havoc in the house.
The Refrigerator Creature can be ruthless and treacherous, when it fights Garfield armed with a box of baking soda, it can be sadistic and tries to kill Garfield to eat him alive until he sacrifices box of baking soda to make it suffer to death.
Appearance
The Refrigerator Creature has a slimy blob-like shape with green, pustular, hair-covered skin, has six arms adorned with four fingers on its six hands, has a mouth with lightsalmon-colored lips and sharp yellow teeth and it grows three yellow-red snail eyes when in pain.
Biography
When Jon prepares a prepared meal for his two pets, he puts milk, hard-boiled eggs, pickles, salt, beans and a salt shaker of garlic into the pot, making it boil wildly and smoke to feel the The smoke alarm, waking Garfield and Odie.

After Jon calls the police about the incident happening in his house because of his cooking mistake he made. But Garfield has no choice to fight the Refrigerator Creature alone without help in order to save his owner's house, he goes to town and buys a box of baking soda which may be a chance to defeat the Refrigerator Creature at the Quick-Mart and enters the house by sneaking in with the box of baking soda contained in the bag in a discreet manner.
When Garfield armed with a bag containing the box of baking soda, he discovered through the fault of his owner that the living room had been vandalized by the Refrigerator Creature and found one of his hands hidden in the armchair and grabbing Garfield with its constricting strength, the Refrigerator Creature threw Garfield and chased him into another room of Jon's house, but other arms of the Refrigerator Creature and grabbing Garfield, led him to the kitchen.
Upon entering the kitchen which is also vandalized with the arms of the Refrigerator Creature, Garfield discovered the complete appearance of the Refrigerator Creature, Garfield tries to free himself, but the Refrigerator Creature is much too strong and tried to eat Garfield alive to kill him, but Garfield opened the bag and revealed that he bought the box of baking soda which is a choice to defeat the Refrigerator Creature by sacrificing the box of baking soda by throwing it into the Refrigerator Creature's mouth, making it suffer in pain until it reduce it to dust to its death, freeing Garfield alone without being helped or saved by his friends or Jon and ending the vandalism at the Arbuckles' house and correcting Jon's culinary mistake for good.
After Garfield achieved his victory by fighting alone the Refrigerator Creature without being helped or saved by Jon or his friends, the police are now forced to deliver some boxes of baking soda throughout the city to avoid creating entities. culinary that Jon made with the Refrigerator Creature.

- Although aimed at a children's audience, the Refrigerator Creature (despite being a genderless creation) is one of the rare (and also the first) antagonists of the Garfield franchise to die.
