The Sour Bunch are the main antagonists of Princess Peach: Showtime! They are the minions who serve their mistress, Madame Grape the sorceress, who seeks to turn the harmonious theater into a nightmarish tragedy. Their name, shared with Grape herself, plays on the word "sour grapes".
Appearance
The Sour Bunch have similar traits with each other, with red eyes, purple bodies, black clothing, and dark colored boots. Some members of the Sour Bunch also have wings that enable them to fly. They look similar to the Theets, with the only notable difference being that the Sour Bunch all lack noses.
Biography
The Sour Bunch begin invading the Sparkle Theater alongside Grape and traps the Theets inside while forcing Princess Peach's Toads and some of the Theets out of the building. They serve as the main enemies that Peach must face in order to make progress and receive rewards from the Theets that they were threatening. They are extremely devoted to Grape, and they willingly serve as her subordinates.
