I cannot leave my work undone. I will see that those who dwell carefree beneath the heavens... See true judgement...The Man
Hah! You're guilty of the same thing! You accuse me of assuming stupid sounding aliases while using that vapid name "Akuma Shogun"! You see! We're two sides of the same coin. We only live by the rules we decide and approve of ourselves. But even such extreme individualism can become this world's new truth if you have the power and will to force that onto it. Goldman! I at least managed to once turn Chojin like you into perfect beings by doing just that. And not just you. I managed to teach the entire Perfect Origin on how to become perfect. I take great pride in that. But over the passage of time, you two chose to throw your perfection away, and crushed my pride in the process. So no matter how many times I must try, I swear I will create everlasting, rock-solid "Perfection"!The Man
The Man is the main antagonist in the Perfect Origin Arc of the manga series Kinnikuman.
The Man is first introduced in the original Kinnikuman manga under his "Chojin Enma" disguise as the boss of Omegaman Dexia who gave him orders to have Neptuneman assassinated.
The Man is voiced by Akio Otsuka who also voiced Marshall D. Teach from One Piece and Big Boss from the Metal Gear series.
Personality
The Man fully believes that Chojin should strive for perfection no matter what and that defeat should be followed up with death, even if it's himself or the allies he has been with for millions of years. However, as the story goes on, he begins to doubt himself, even going as far as to ask Nemesis where he went wrong.
The Man has great respect for all Perfect Chojin as long as they agree to end their own life after death, viewing it as keeping their morales until their respectable death, alternatively, The Man hates the Perfect Chojin who try to stay alive after they lose and view it as nothing more than a sign of weakness.

Kinnikuman
The Man holds Kinnikuman directly responsible for both the emergence of Burning Inner Strength in the Chojin of the world, which Kinnikuman and Neptuneman's, and later Peek-a-Boo's, betrayal of the Perfect Chojin.
As such The Man hates Kinnikuman and wishes to have him killed, even going as far as to travel to the surface world with the Perfect Large Numbers to see him killed in person.
After The Man is defeated by Akuma Shogun and Kinnikuman stops Akuma Shogun from killing The Man, he sees Kinnikuman as a much stronger person, someone who deserves to help guide the future of the world and every Chojin who inhabits it instead of the Perfect Origin, however, he warns Kinnikuman that if the Chojin of the surface world were ever to become a threat to the Perfect Chojin, then he would order another purge on the Justice Chojin.
Biography
Past
In the past, The Man originally known as the God of Compassion was a God that gave up his position in the heavens to help the Chojin survive the extinction event that would befall them. He would pick ten Chojin who he would personally protect and raise which he would dub the Perfect Origin.
After learning of that more Chojin survived than expected, the Perfect Origin had to discuss what to do with them and The Man decided that the surviving Chojin should be left alone, to grow so that the Perfect Origin may see their evolution, however, quickly the strong would dominate the weak, killing anyone they wanted. This resulted in the Perfect Origin going to Earth to genocide any Chojin who was dominating others.
One day millions of years later, The Man and the remaining members of the Perfect Origin would attack a small kingdom that used a similar power to Psychoman's Magnet Power to further their civilisation. Due to them using powers only meant for Perfect Chojin, they would all be killed by the Perfect Origin.
After this point, The Man agreed that all of the Perfect Origin should hide themselves away in the Chojin Graveyard and only accept truly strong Chojin to be their students. Eventually, both Silverman and Goldman would leave them forever but not before Goldman and The Man would make a promise to each other that if The Man were to ever fall from his righteous path, he would be killed by Goldman.
Kinnikuman (2011)
After many years, The Man, now under the disguise of Strong the Budo and leading the Perfect Large Numbers, would attack the Justice Chojins, nullifying the peace treaty signed by Neptuneman. Strong the Budo would have the Perfect Large Number, Max Radical fight against Terryman, once Max Radical lost, Strong the Budo would summon a sword for him to kill himself with since he lost.
Strong the Budo and the rest of the Perfect Large Numbers would split off to fight against the Seven Devil Chojin and Kinnikuman with Strong the Budo fighting against The Mountain who he would overpower and kill before the two fall off a cliff.
Hours later, Strong the Budo would emerge from the chasm he fell in before flying over to Kinnikuman and carrying him over to Japan's National Stadium before explaining to them that he is The Man and that this is where the Unforgivable Yggdrasil was planted which protected the Chojin in the area before making the train sprout up to set up the next few fights against the Justice Chojin against the Perfect Origin.
After the fights were over, only Nemesis and himself remain and he ordered Nemesis to heal up and fight Kinnikuman tomorrow. The next day, Kinnikuman and Nemesis would fight with Kinnikuman winning. The Man was ready to kill Nemesis, however, he was stopped by Neptuneman and Peek-a-Boo until Akuma Shogun stepped up to challenge him, fulfilling the promise he made to him millions of years ago.
After his defeat at the hands of Akuma Shogun, just as he was about to be killed, Kinnikuman saves him, not wanting to see two long-standing friends who had just repaired their relationship have to kill each other. Akuma Shogun relents but not before ordering The Man to remain locked in the Chojin Graveyard until he dies and to never make a single other Chojin immortal.
The Man would agree, being taken to the Chojin Graveyard and staying in a cage until he dies.
Powers and Abilities
- Perfect Chojin Physiology: As a God-turned Chojin, The Man has immense strength, speed and durability far above most other Chojin who already have the ability to perform superhuman feats. Additionally, due to being a Perfect Chojin, The Man doesn't age at all, staying at his peak physical age after millions of years. Other abilities that Chojin have that The Man likely has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
- Zero Tragedy: The Man has the unique ability to drain Chojin of their Chojin Power, once all of it is drained then they will be transformed into a normal human.
- Hardness Levels: With his Hardness Levels, The Man can freely increase or decrease his own density, making The Man's body as hard as diamonds.
- Psychic Powers: The Man has various unexplained psychic powers. These powers include the ability to remove a person's memories from their body, reverting them back to being an infant or sending psychic messages to people, something he does to manipulate the humans of the world into doing what he wants them to do.
Trivia
- The Zero Tragedy serves as a hint about Strong the Budo's real identity as Perfect Zero, The Man, a fact that was pointed out in the series by Buffaloman.
- The Chojin Enma, The Man's fake identity, appearance in the original Kinnikuman anime as a minor antagonist who works alongside the Five Evil Gods likely served as the inspiration behind The Man and the Five Evil Gods connection in Kinnikuman (2011).
- The Man is tied with Neptune King, the character who The Man's Strong the Budo identity takes design inspiration from, for being the second tallest Kinnikuman villains and characters in the franchise, both of them being 290 centimetres or 9 feet 5 inches tall, with only Sunshine who is 300 centimetres or 9 feet 8 inches tall.
