Warstar

The Warstar were a military force of insect-like aliens that were the main antagonists of Power Rangers Megaforce the series. Their ultimate goal was to either subdue or eliminate all humans and conquer the Earth to use its natural resources and make it into an Insectoid planetary base in a permanent manner.

Biography

Past

Warstar was just a small faction of the Armada led by Emperor Mavro and were sent as the army's advance guard to conquer the Earth in the opening stages of their invasion of the universe. The Emperor's son Vrak joined Warstar shortly before they departed for the invasion but was subservient to the group's leader Admiral Malkor. Vrak took the Aurora Box and the Powermid with him. He presented them as the most prized relics of his family which become weapons of Warstar and, through a combination of his competence, royal offerings and highly influence at Warstar, he rose to second-in-command of the Insectoids alongside Creepox, serving directly under Malkor.

Megaforce

In 2013, Warstar comes to Earth with Vrak and Creepox being sent to asses the planet. Though they deem it practically defenceless, Gosei assembles five Mega Rangers who are able to defeat Scaraba in the initial invasion. Vrak first encounters personally the Mega Rangers in his Earth Armor when he attacks the Rangers with Loogies to test their fighting skills. Seeing the Rangers defeat the Loogies with ease, Vrak leaves the scene.

Malkor starts to get frustrated with failed plans and calls the royal alien Beezara who has a great reputation. Beezara fails in bid to beat the Rangers, and she's destroyed. Frustrated because his subordinates have done nothing more than delay their invasion plans, Malkor calls a new ally: Dizchord. Malkor is a big fan of the Dizchord's music, and sent to Earth to torment humans with his music. Vrak is sent to Earth to keep Dizchord on track and comes up with a even more devious plot: a satellite that makes the Dizchord's music be transmitted around the planet, but the plan fails. Malkor grows angry at Vrak's failure and prepares for a full-proof plan. As Warstar is only the advance force for the Armada, they don't have many soldiers at their disposal and the death of Creepox leaves them severely undermanned. As a result, Malkor sends Vrak to enlist the Toxic Mutants' help. Later on, Malkor worries that Robo Knight has been interfering with his goals and initially wanted him to be destroyed but until agreeing with Vrak's solution with capturing and reprograming him into the Warstar side. After the Toxic Mutant, Psychotick's defeat, Malkor scolds Vrak for the failure but still compliments the concept of making Robo Knight their minion and that the Mutant is to blame and then believes that Vrak has a problem that he must solve on his own.

After the Toxic Beasts' demise, he and Vrak discuss about their past allies being destroyed and mentions about finishing their missions before Prince Vekar's Armada arrives and has resorted to be laying in his cocoon to become powerful while Vrak takes command for him but Malkor didn't know that he was planning to usurp him. Malkor eventually awakens from his cocoon and is determined to destroy the Mega Rangers. After a heated battle, Malkor is defeated by the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord which also destroys the Warstar Mothership and seemingly killing Vrak which marks the end of Warstar. However, Metal Alice manages to recover Vrak's body and rebuild him as a cyborg.
