Yellzor

And that's fool. Not only did you not protect him. You watched him get destroyed.Yellzor

Yellzor was a minor antagonist of Power Rangers Super Megaforce, serving as the minor antagonist of the Episode 18. He was a seahorse-themed Armada high-ranking soldier, (possibly a general), working directly under Emperor Mavro and whom co-ranked with Redker as his personal second-in-command, similarly to how his predecessors, Creepox and Vrak, served under Admiral Malkor.

He was voiced by Jeremy Birchall, who also voiced multiple other villains and monsters in Power Rangers franchise.

Biography

Past

It's completely nothing known about Yellzor's early life and how he joined Armada, but it's known that he joined the evil empire at some point of his life and was appointed to be Emperor Mavro's right-hand man, alongside Redker, his fellow comrade and partner. Together the two generals loyally served the evil emperor and helped Mavro in his conquest of multiple planets across the universe.

Super Megaforce

In the episode 18 after the death of Prince Vekar, and failure of Damaras and Levira to get rid of the Super Megaforce Rangers, the prince's father Emperor Mavro arrived together with his royal bodyguards Yellzor and Redker and his two Kingsmen soldiers to take the control of Armada fleet destined to attack and conquer the Earth in his own hands. Immediately after their arrival, Mavro commanded and ordered his bodyguards to take Damaras into custody as punishment for his failure to protect his son. When Levira attempted to intervene and explain to Yellzor and Redker that it wasn't Damaras's failure that Vekar perished, but Rangers's and Damaras tried to protect the prince and cared and protected about Vekar with all of his forces, Yellzor blasted her aside in a display of strength, swatting her aside easily. After Yellzor enforced his role alongside Redker, the bodyguard was dismissed by Emperor Mavro and was not seen again during the rest of the Earth invasion and battle with the Rangers.

Yellzor's further fate after the final battle with Mavro is unknown and is completely unknown if what happened to him afterwards.

Personality

Despite only appearing briefly and not participating much in the plot and battles with Rangers, Yellzor was shown to be completely and unambiguously loyal to Emperor Mavro and served him well and with all of his forces, alongside his cohort Redker. He was also shown to greatly respect Prince Vekar, being extremely wrathful when he knew about the emperor's son's demise. Yellzor furiously beat down both Damaras and Levira for failing to protect Vekar from the Rangers. After everything, he was one of the Armada's strongest fighters and one of the few generals within the empire whom Mavro actually trusted, serving the emperor primarily as his personal guard and executioner, a role that perfectly befitted Yellzor's energetic and action-demanding nature and demeanor. Although he possessed a composure, the bodyguard could easily lose his cool temper if someone interfered him and got in his way, which was seen when he was violently pushing and blasting Levira aside simply because she attempted to hold his hand and stop the guard from beating down Damaras and pummeling the latter, aggressively when he tried to explain himself before Mavro of Damaras's innocence.

Powers and Abilities

  • Superhuman Strength: He is very strong to the point of physically punishing Levira and Damaras under the order of the newly-arrived Emperor Mavro.
  • Master Combatant: While it wasn't shown, but it could be presumed that Yellzor was immensely powerful combatant, due to his immense strength and high position in the empire's forces.

Arsenal

  • Arm Blaster: Yellzor has a large blaster in place of his left forearm that can fire yellow energy blasts.

Trivia

  • Yellzor has only appeared during Emperor Mavro's arrival to take over the Armada and his sole role was to restrain Damaras alongside Redker so that the Kingsmen could take him into solitary as punishment for his failure at the assignment of protecting and safeguarding Mavro's eldest son, Prince Vekar and failing at the search of his other son, Prince Vrak.
  • It is likely he could not appear any further after that because of Nickelodeon's 22-episode season rule.
  • Yellzor may have been destroyed in the final battle, either when Troy destroys the fleet of Emperor Mavro with the Armada Mothership, or when he and Orion destroy the mothership itself. However, this is never confirmed on-screen.
  • He is the third Neo-Saban monster who was never shown destroyed and whose fate is unknown, the first being Sharkjaw, the second being Invidious.
