Harold Abernathy is a survivor of the outbreak in Skybound Entertainment's Comic Universe. He is a minor character in Image Comics' The Walking Dead and Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is a resident and a cage fighter of Woodbury. He is described as "one of the Governor's best fighters, a lanky former truck driver from Augusta".

This Sorrowful Life
"Issue 31"
Harold arrives to the infirmary at 2:53 PM to have Dr. Stevens remove his bandages. Oblivious of the situation, he encourages Stevens and Rick to watch the match. Suddenly, Eugene storms into the room and furiously berates Harold for causing him a permanent injury by knocking his teeth out during their previous match. Despite Harold's apology, Eugene murders him by stabbing Harold in the neck.
The Fall of the Governor - Part One
"The Gathering"
News of the attack and Harold’s subsequent death from massive blood loss wends its way across town over the course of the next hour making it's way from man to man across the wall. At exactly 3:55 PM, the news reaches the Governor on his back deck from Bruce, who calmly recounts the whole incident. The Governor thinks it over and finally says that they shouldn't make a big deal out of it and instead, as to not alert the townspeople, tell them that Harold died from internal injuries sustained during the previous fight because he was a hero who gave it his all, and these fights are a real thing which they should remember. They then decide to replace Harold with Michonne as a last minute fighter.
Death
- Killed By
While being patched up by Stevens in the infirmary, an enraged Eugene storms in and stabs Harold in the neck with a buck-knife for accidentally smashing out his front teeth during a previous fight. The blade severs his carotid artery and sends gouts of blood flinging across the tile walls in a gruesome display. It is unknown if his reanimated form was destroyed or kept by the Governor to add to his collection of decapitated heads.
