This is a phenomenal record! It's all instrumental and recorded just a few years after Otis' death. It's full of bright and funky horns and solid covers of his best tunes. Odell does a marvelous job paying respect to one of the greatest soul singers of all time. His funky organ captures the nuances of Otis' soul and the band is bringing the funky background that you would expect for someone to cover the incredible jams that Otis left behind for us all to enjoy. Must buy. Don't question this purchase.
