Adam S. Posen

ADAM S. POSEN is President of the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He has served as a consultant to the International Monetary Fund and to governments in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. From 1994 to 1997, he was an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and from 2009 to 2012, he was an external voting member of the Bank of England’s rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee. He is a co-editor, with Jean Pisani-Ferry, of The Green Frontier: Assessing the Economic Implications of Climate Action.
