Well written exposition of an Ireland rebuilt on co-operative principles, agricultural, industrial, and consumer. Understands the exploited situation of the working class. Does not tackle the plausibility of being able to build a co-operative society against hostile forces. Harks back to a Gaelic society which was not as egalitarian as he imagines (basing himself on then current historiography), and calls for non-sectarian approach without dealing with unionist convictions of Protestants. A brief and genuine take on visions by an Irish poet. Both Dion Fortune and Israel Regardie having referred to this title, I looked it up and was not let down.

The anecdote abt AE WBY and the plums is telling. what is it abt. plums? Remember WCW's poem about that delicious fruit. AE shows up in the library as Stephen gives his 'lecture' on Shakespeare.
