The 26th of November: A Pride and Prejudice Comedy… by Elizabeth Adams
Elizabeth Bennet is stuck in a loop repeating the day of the Netherfield Ball. As the she resets each morning she finds herself desperate to solve the problems of Mr. Bingley leaving, her mother and sisters' embarrassing behavior, and Mr. Collin's unwanted proposal. I loved her interactions with Darcy. They were definitely the best part and gave us a chance to see that relationship grow deeper. I grew tired of the repetition in the rest of the plot. It's ties up a bit too neatly, but that's not surprising. A quick fun read to start off the year celebrating Austen's 250th birthday!… (more)
