Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 28th Edition, with… by Barbara Aland

The 28th edition advances on the previous scholarship of the NA27 through the text-critical insights and decisions from the Editio Critica Major. As a consequence of these alterations the Nestle-Aland has, for the first time, a different presentation for different parts of the text. The Catholic Letters were revised according to a fundamentally new concept which in the long run will be adopted for the entire edition. The revision of the remaining texts was confined to a thorough inspection and rearrangement of the apparatus, while the basic structure was left untouched.

The Text of the New Testament: An Introduction to… by Kurt Aland

I'm not a scholar, but a blogger researching textual criticism. This book is written for people who are either experienced in TC, or are willing to dedicate a significant amount of time to learn about it. This book would not be a good choice for someone who just wants an introduction to TC. Knowing Greek would help in a number of places, but I was able to get quite a bit out of the book without knowing Greek.

Greek-English New Testament

It's impressive how much research has been condensated in the 810 small size pages of this volume, apart from the Greek and English tekst of the New Testament. A gold mine for the New Testament researcher.

The Text of the New Testament: An Introduction to… by Kurt Aland

Very difficult but important read due to the topic. If you read or have a decent knowledge of Greek this would be a great help. This covers the topic of textual criticism, an area that you do not learn hardly anything in most "Bible believing" churches. I highly recommend a book on this subject for any one who takes the Bible seriously.
