Tedd Arnold was born in Elmira, New York. He earned a fine arts degree from the University of Florida. He and his wife, Carol, lived in Tallahassee where he worked as a commercial illustrator. He has now published over 50 books as author and illustrator. His book, Hi! Fly Guy received a 2006 show more Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor from the American Library Association. He now resides back in Elmira with his family. He has two grown sons, Walter and William. (Bowker Author Biography) show less

Fly High, Fly Guy! by Tedd Arnold

Fly Guy gets trapped in the trunk of the family car and goes along on the trip with the family.

This book would be good for 1st graders.

I would use this book to help my students with their fluency and introduce chapter books into my classroom.

Fly Guy and the Frankenfly (Fly Guy #13) (13) by Tedd Arnold

Buzz has a bad dream about a fly guy making a frankenfly when he wakes up he sees that it was just a bad dream. Good for younger kids who are eager to take on a larger picture book.

Hi! Fly Guy by Tedd Arnold

The age range is 1st and up. This book is about a boy who needs to find a pet to bring to the pet show and ends up finding a fly and naming him fly guy. This could be a good book for the students who want to start reading chapter books.

Hi! Fly Guy by Tedd Arnold

This is a good transition book for younger kids and follows Buzz looking for a pet for the talent show. He sees Fly Guy and when he says Buzz he takes him home to be his pet. Fly Guy is a very smart pet because he knows his owners name Buzz.
