This is not high literature, it's a little dirty pulp and uses all the lingo and clichés of the genre.
But even if the characters are a bit flat the action is fast paced and the story just keeps moving and making me want to read a little bit more each time.

This book has nice ending, all tied up with an epilogue and all, but I get this feeling that this story is just the begining. Even if I'm not sure I want to keep reading it.

The book started OK then I started to get the feeling that the author needed a thesaurus, because she was using the same words over and over again to describe sex and feelings.

Then the story got more action and mystery and I sort of forgot about the repetitive wording.
And then just I when the story headed to a good ending (and by good ending I mean that the story seamed to end in a well though manner, not that all was going to end well). But then the book ended. I hate series that do this...
And I didn't even had the warning of getting to the last pages of the book, because the book has the first chapter of other 3 books in the series.

Just couldn't resist. I'm a sucker for fantasy, specially if it involves vampires or fairies and lots of sex.

I don't give this book the 5 stars, because it's the first of a series, and even if the mystery is fairly solved, there are lots of loose ends. And I don't really like loose ends. I also prefer my sex scenes more explicit and long, I find it frustrating when the hero describes the first orgasm, that takes her 15 minutes to get, (and is described in half a page) and then just continues the story saying they had 4 hours of sex, all over the place, an all we are told is where they had sex...… (more)

maybe 3.5 stars

This one left me concerned. A lot of the plot is devoted to the sexual needs of the different species' in the book (which is usually fine), but I would have preferred the plot to be more interesting. I don't know, I'll have to think more about it. It wasn't bad.
