Once again, I chose this book for its cover. Yes, I chose it because it is snowing on the cover. No idea what the book was about but I checked it out anyway. I have never read anything by this author and definitely wasn't disappointed.

This book is about a guy named Eric who has a lot of anger and can't seem to control it. He has alienated everyone he cares about and has no idea how to make it right. He meets Adrian, who has similar problems and the two of them become best friends. They are determined to get through this together. Adrian is killed and when Eric meets his friend's son it all hits home for him.

Eric is changing and everyone around him sees it and forgives him but can he forgive himself? This book has a lot of emotions running high in it. Everyone has their own baggage that came out of this and this book takes you through how they deal with it.

This book may be fiction but it will hit home with many people. The trials and situations in this book are all too real. There are people who struggle with abuse, alcoholism, anger management issues, parental issues, grief and so many more. People can change and this book is all about changing for the better. It is an emotional ride but this book is definitely worth the read.

This is a beautiful story. Roxanne is recovering from the loss of her husband and son. She is offered a caregiving position with Claudette Grayson, a famous author that she idolizes. Little does Roxanne realize that she has walked into a magical mystery that will change her life forever. Full of intrigue, romance, suspense, mystery and a bit of enchantment/time-travel, the story will grab you by the hand the minute you start it and pull you right in. You will find that you must know what happens after every page. I couldn’t put it down. Phillip is the mystery man of intrigue and I had to know who he was and what was going on. The story is so well-written. Claudette is so set on her story being finished that you can’t help but wonder why. The mystery of who Phillip is and why he is is a primary question. The intrigue of what happened between Margaret and Phillip? So many questions to be answered. I love the plot twists. The plot even flowed smooth for having a few diversions. The characters were well-intertwined. Every one had their individual part but also played a key role. I didn’t see Renee’s surprise coming. I found that the trapped in time/enchantment theme worked really well. The climax of the book played out well. I wasn’t too sure at first but as it was explained, it all came out so well. A great book that I feel many will love. Highly recommend.… (more)

Amazingly original! This author always does a knockout job with this series. You feel like you are there with the characters. Your heartstrings are pulled. The characters are totally relatable. The plot runs smooth, not choppy at all. This one was a winner also. It is always good to read these because the author always reconnects you with previous characters from the other books in the series. The stories end up feeling like a community. It's a great feeling for a book. From start to finish, you just don't want to put it down. I would give it more than a 5 if I could.… (more)

Wow! This book packs an emotional wallop! I feel like I've had my own heartbroken with the conclusion of Scott and Zelda's story. These two have been through the wringer. Little Julianna tries so hard to help. I can't even imagine what it would be like to talk to ghosts. What a terrific job with this book! The characters are familiar and like coming home to family and the story kind of just picks up from the first book. Then, as everything is going along, BAM!!! Plot twist! Well played, well played. Get out there and get yourself this series. One of recommended favorites of 2021.… (more)
