Michael recites a curse he finds in a book (why?) and brings it on himself. Suddenly all animals are out to hurt him, and as the animals get deadlier, his need to stop the curse gets more urgent. With his friend Jennifer's help, he is able to return a bear idol to its place and remove the curse at last. He also prevents it from ever happening again.

Jenna thinks joining the "Shadow Club" and becoming popular is the most important thing that could happen to her, but when a prospector's ghost begins to haunt her, she wonders. Now she's not sure whether the ghost is after her or one of the kids from (or who tried out for) the Shadow Club is. As she solves the mystery of who the ghost is, she also figures out who her friends are.

Monica immediately fell in love with the doll she found in her room, but her difficulties adjusting to the school seem to be tied to it. When she finds a ghost haunting her and herself getting in trouble every time a wish she's made comes true, she knows she has to do something to stop it. She works together with the ghost who formerly owned the doll to stop it and get her life back on track.
