Wood’s Quest is the third novel to introduce the back stories of the characters in the Mac Travis series. This novel provides an introduction to Trufante and his life in New Orleans prior to his appearance in the Keys. This is another good story by Steven Becker set in the Keys. The story begins in the days prior to Katrina hitting New Orleans and Trufante’s escape to the Keys in the aftermath of the storm.
