Wow, what a twisted fun little mystery. We're back with Wick and Griff, now that the other situation's been handled...there's still one other issue that won't seem to go away.

And Wick is ready to get some answers and cut her ties for good. But this part of her life, this past, it can't seem to let her go. And to top it off, she's pulled in again to something she has to handle. But that "something" has ties to her past life - again pulling her into things she's trying to leave behind.

All of this coming back is making it very hard for her to keep everyone new in her life safe. She's having to dive deeper and get in deeper to keep them safe.

But are any of them really safe.

This one kept me guessing until the very end. And the big reveal was truly surprising. I'd guessed many, but I'd never guessed that one.

a great little mystery & suspense filled thriller. Even though I knew "who done it" by chapter 10, it was still fun to go through all the twists and turns.

Wick (aka Wicked and Wicket) was wonderful. Her voice was real, her reactions understandable. I jumped right into her world and loved her for all her strength and for her ability to survive.

Lily, Griff, Bren, Todd - even Tessa. All the supporting characters are flushed out enough to really make this story grab you and take you along.

what a ride. I can't wait for book 2. The last bit in the book intro'd it and I'm hooked!… (more)
