In the wake of the death of her father- a comfortably-off White S African with racist views - Annemarie and her mother enter a weird, cocooned existence. Security and comfort seem to be the watchword of mother's life now- a life based around food, trivia and long periods in their apartment.
As Annmarie- slowly, minimally - becomes aware of the very different existence led by the Black population, this "other world" out there threatens to break through the screens and mobiles with which the two women blot out Tough Questions.… (more)
