A really adorable book. I like how the author painted such great personalities from gender as well as age differences. A feel good book that felt like a hallmark movie but with better acting LOL. Maybe a Spark novel.

A book that makes me cry this much is a great book. Funny and heartwarming. I'm going to hug my dog and never let go.

A sweet (mostly) holiday read where caring for dogs teaches a human lessons.

There are sad parts. Dogs are abandoned or returned to the shelter. Puppies are stillborn. Loving animals and then losing them (whether to death or adoption). But there are happy parts too. A dog who lost her own puppies becoming a foster dog mom to another litter of puppies. A sibling helps his blind brother. Unconditional love from dogs.
