This book was so, for lack of a better term, fun. As someone who watched every slasher movie I could get my grubby little hands on, this book felt like the perfect embodiment of some of my favorite movies. I can't speak to the author's motivations or what he was trying to do, but to me it felt like a fantastic tribute to all the things that make a slasher movie great. The title says it all, you get what you pay for in this one (which is actually rather refreshing), and it's a wild ride I am so happy to have taken.

Climbing the cornfield three takes us to a cult. This cult feels like an Amish society. They worship Frando and there was just weird crap that goes on. Like cannibalism and other things. There are a lot of leftover questions from this book. I know there’s going to be a book for but this book barely connects to the other too. It does connect, but it’s getting out there. It’s like when Freddie met Jason in space. They took a step too far. I didn’t mind this book and I still love the series, but I need to see what happened next and I need all the holes filled. Like where the body comes from. How does it have the psychedelic effect. Lots and lots of questions… (more)
