About the Author

Louis Cha was born Cha Leung-yung in Haining, China on March 10, 1924. He graduated from Soochow University's law school in 1948. He worked as a journalist and translator for the newspaper Ta Kung Pao. He later became a film critic and editor for The New Evening Post in Hong Kong. In 1959, he show more established his own newspaper Ming Pao Daily News. He stepped down as chairman of the Ming Pao Enterprise Corporation in 1993. He wrote novels under the pen name Jin Yong. From 1955 to 1972, he wrote 14 novels including The Book and the Sword and Legends of the Condor Heroes trilogy. His novels inspired numerous film, television, and video game adaptations. Cina e Mongolia intorno al 1200
il Secondo Maestro Taoista dell'ORDINE DELLA COMPLETA PERFEZIONE giura di proteggere i figli di due uomini d'onore discendenti di eroi del regno, per farlo si accorda (più o meno) con i più famosi degli eroi erranti: I SETTE BALORDI DEL SUD
L'accordo, tra le altre cose, prevede che ogni parte in causa trovi uno dei bambini (dispersi dallo stesso attacco che ne ha ucciso i padri) e lo istruisca nelle arti marziali fino al 18mo anno

I Sette eroi cercheranno Guo Jing fino alle steppe della mongolia, nell'accampamento di Gengis Khan, dove con molti sforzi, essendo il bimbo duro di coccio, passeranno anni frustranti a cercare di addestrarlo

il Maestro Taoista invece troverà il suo pupillo Yang Kang alla corte del Sesto Principe dei Jurchen che, dopo averne rapito la madre, lo sta facendo passare per suo figlio, lo addestrerà con risultati ottimi nelle arti marziali ma più che pessimi nei valori che le identificano (Yang Kang è una merdaccia)

This book is bananas. The first one was good, so I read this one.

This one is good, and hilarious. Defs moving onto the third one.

Also, most of the characters are jerks, and the one who reminds me of Bumi (from Avatar The Last Airbender) is becoming a favorite.
