excellent book extolling the virtues and challenges of those that were challenged and ended up at the end.

There's not much here of interest to the inquiring scholar. Clark, a former LDS Church leader, is on record elsewhere as accepting the "Textus Receptus", the Greek manuscript that forms the basis for the so-called King James Version, as being the only accurate witness of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
This book is another attempted "harmony" of the Gospels. It completely ignores the Synoptic Problem, as well as the crucial question of why the Gospel of John differs so dramatically from the Synoptics.
Readers seeking an explication of those issues must look elsewhere. Readers seeking a quality "harmony" should consult the work of Kurt Aland.
