CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:

Firstly, One Magic Kiss is a clean sweet romance between two people in need of love and home. Although a novella, Cortelyou, included everything needed to create a satisfying, entertaining, and enjoyable book. By their nature, novellas cannot go into the same depth and development as a novel; however, Cortelyou created a splendid and complete story-line in this novella.

Secondly, the character development and development of the storyline's well done as well as the pace of the book. It was satisfying to follow Jake and Cara through a 24 hour period to find love. There is more to Jake than meets the eye, and Cara has a heart ache of her own, which Cortelyou realistically resolved moving the characters forward with new possibilities of love. Cortelyou's characters and story-line was realistic; One Magic Kiss's was just the right touch for Valentine Day with a happy ever after ending.

Finally, in concluding my romance novel/book review of One Magic Kiss, I found an enjoyable story-line, well-written, which had no need of resorting to explicit or graphic sex to convey the emotions involved.

ONE MAGIC KISS RECOMMENDATION: STARS 4

In addition, I would not hesitate to buy this book for myself or a friend. A feel good read when you finish the last sentence, you leave with a happy sigh of contentment and lightheartedness. I look forward to the next installment from the talented pen of Holly Cortelyou.
