First, the stories in this book are incredibly steamy. They are also awfully short. To short to create well developed characters.
Story #1, Copping to It, was the steamiest. However, it had the least character build. And the situation was a bit over the top. The ending felt rushed and uncompleted.
Story #2, Cop Appeal, the characters were better developed and the sex was erotic. The end was dubious and left you feeling like the story was incomplete.
Story #3, Copping Attitude, had decent character build (considering the length of these stories). It was the most romantic of the three stories.
I think if each story had been a full length book they could have made intriguing & suspenseful stories. Ms. Virna DePaul definitely has grabbed my interest & I will be checking out more of her books.

Bettesbooks | 7 other reviews | Jul 24, 2020 | Not a bad read, at least the characters haven't magically fixed all their problems by the end. And there are just enough unresolved problems in the plot line to give some hope for decent stories through the rest of the series.

moxamoll | Dec 3, 2019 | What Love Can Do is a story of hope in times of hopeless. The descriptions of the beautiful scenery, the bonds of the O'Neill family and the resilience in the face of tragedy combined to make Virna DePaul's latest novel one that leaves a lasting impression. What Love can do is Quinn's quest for answers after discovering a long withheld secret after his mother's death. In order to do so he leaves Ireland and makes his way to his mother's birth place in California. In a foreign land with nowhere to set down roots he meets Lillian who oversees the local B & B. Lillian wants a chance to spread her wings outside of Forestville and pursue her dream of being a chef. But one look, one touch and Quinn makes her crave things she never thought possible. I received an ARC of What Love Can Do in exchange for an honest review. I was fascinated by Quinn. His decisions to leave behind his home and family to learn more about his mom's past took courage. The romance between he and Lillian move fast but was also a poignant part of this story. This was a beautiful beginning to the O'Neill family saga.

Lashea677 | Feb 16, 2019 | I am liking this series more with each brother I meet. The Way Love Goes is middle brother Conor's story. All five brothers have been impacted by the death of their mother in different ways, for Con he's lost his compass. Con lost the person that gave him a sense of direction and has been floundering trying to gain his footing in the wake of it all. When he meets Madlyn he gets a glimpse of the man he can be and he begins to slowly find the happiness that his life has been missing. The issues arise when Con learns about the secrets behind Madlyn's abrupt departure. That's when he has to decide if he has what it takes to take on the responsibilities that come with falling in love. I received a copy of The Way Love Goes by Virna DePaul in exchange for an honest review. Con's story is one of personal growth. With this series she gives you a sense of family but she also allows you to healing of each brother as they found their own place in a new homeland.

Lashea677 | Feb 16, 2019 | The Rock Candy series is off to a steamy start with Rock Strong. Bad boy rocker, Liam needs some taming. From his party ways to his dirty nights, the life of a rock star has proven to be just what he wants until Abby hits all the right notes to his heart. Abby has been on the fast track to living out her dreams. A musical genius with a tender heart does not belong in the provocative world of sex, rock n roll and temptation. Her head knows she's in over head but her feelings are too strong to let go. I received a copy of Rock Strong in exchange for an honest review. The heated exchanges lead to sultry glances that made for a sensually charged romantic getaway.

Lashea677 | 2 other reviews | Feb 16, 2019 | Complicated bachelors, spirited women and modern day love stories are a perfect fit for the Bedding the Bachelors series. The roadway to love proves difficult but the payoff is so worth the stormy weather along the way. Having made a success of a life built on despair and disappointment Gabe still focuses on what he lacks instead of all he's accomplished. The girl that holds his heart is promised to someone else and he will always be seen as not good enough in the eyes of the only people that matter in his life. Brianne has never seen Gabe as anything but the man of her dreams. Her heart has always belonged to the boy with the sad eyes and humongous chip on his shoulder. Only one major obstacle stands in the way for this star-crossed pair. Until Gabe accepts his past, his future with Brianne will remain in question. I have been in love with this series since Bedding the Wrong Brother first landed on my ereader. In all that time and with every story my opinion of this series and author has yet to change.

Lashea677 | Feb 16, 2019 | Hope Falls is a place where the love is deep, the hope is universal and the chance to make a fresh start is met with open arms. For that reason, Virna Depaul was a well chosen contributor to Melanie Shawn's wonderful family friendly series. She brings heart and laughter to her own stories, so it's only fitting that she would do the same with her edition to Hope Falls. Alder is a bit of a playboy and Dara is a little bit quirky but together they give Treasured Kiss a lightness that translated into a cute read that blends the best traits of everyone involved. Cute mixture of warmth and emotion.

He works hard and parties harder, but will a chance meeting with an alluring stranger get him to change his ways. In a world where image is everything, two people are about to find that it's what the heart feels that really matters. Rock Dirty plays hard on the surface, but underneath all the innuendos and wicked behavior is a genuine meeting of two souls searching for their way home.

Lashea677 | Feb 16, 2019 | A tale of new beginnings, old traditions and unbreakable spirit is the road map Ms. DePaul lays out for the untraditional O’Neill family. Playboy, Riley O’Neill enjoys the variety of single life but his connection with good friend Erica has him questioning if bachelorhood is the life for him. Circumstances may change but the bond of friendship and family will forever remain. With a message like that Virna DePaul easily gets an A .

She does not wait for life to happen to her, she makes things happen for her. Bastian takes a licking with that sharp tongue of hers and tosses it right back. The attitude is fierce, the chemistry is climatic and spice will set the room on fire. Fast, fun and flirty equal fantastic.

I loved Rhys.. he was the perfect male lead... there where just a few bits that irked me, but overall I was pleased with the way the story progressed.
