Douthitt, Cecil B. (brother) - Short biography
- One of the famous Douthitt brothers, who were a trio of famous evangelists and writers for the Church of Christ. The group consisted of Boone, Cecil (who was famous for his religious tracts and hymns) and Ira (who was famous for his missionary travels and books). Boone was known for his travels and sermons across the country as well as numerous publications on religious subjects in the Church of Christ. He ministered well up into his 80's. He was also well known as a professor of theology at David Lipscomb college in Nashville during the 1960's.
