Wonderful for the right audience. You have to not mind that bear has eczema or something around his right eye, and know that it does seem irl that the moon follows a traveler, and have the right kind of sense of humor. I get it, but I don't love it.

Honestly, I think it's a perfect book for the right audience. And maybe if my kids were little and we could play the TY/No TY game, we'd love it. As is, it seemed just a little too silly, without being all-out absurd, for me. That is to say, rather pointless. But since I am not the _target audience, and my inner child does not want to come out and play, I won't rate the book.

I do wish the gender of the child remained neutral... there's no reason it had to be a boy except for the brief style underwear.

Reread. This time it 'clicked' for me and I actually love it. I can imagine sitting with a kid and having her practice by helping me with all the things the child in the book says. The other words are pretty easy, too, and so this would work as a leveled reader, not just a picture book. I will consider more by the author.

{My thoughts} – Letter Town is a neat little seek and find book. Each letter needs to be found on the pages as you are paging through. It also asks you to find other things to like for the letter S it asks you to find who says HoHoHo. I think it’s a nice little book for sure.

The words on the pages go together with the illustrations wonderfully. They blend in together to make a wonderful book for little children. I really enjoyed reading and paging through it. I can’t wait to share it with my daughter once she gets to the age in which she can identify letters in the alphabet!

I think this is an incredible book and that any child would enjoy having it added to their bookshelves.
