Pond Life (Golden Guide) by George K. Reid; Illustrator-Sally D. Kaicher; Illustrator-Tom Dolan
The book includes some introductory information on ponds, and overviews of a variety of and animals. The bief descriptions include color illustrations. The book is ideally designed for identification of the various types of pond life. Fungi seem to have been overlooked.
