My eyes are tired to read this detailed pastel colored book and I need to send it back to the library, but I can tell that lots of folks would love it the good science and the lovely pictures and the easy to read, but still rich, text. Bibliography in back.

When reading this book as a class, we learned a bunch of new vocabulary words about nature and the students really enjoyed that. I think its a good book to use when teaching about planting flowers, plants, and other things.

This heart warming story tells of Katie and her family as they endeavor to spread a little "green" around their praire town. Speaks to the wonder and beauty of nature....plus offers a background on the holiday and its inception.

A book about overcoming fears and working with a partner to make a task easier and safer.
