Wow wow wow!! I waited so long to read this and wish I could read it again for the first time! So glad it was on KU or else I may not have read it yet. It had magic, love, nightmares, and ruthless corrupted rulers. Everything you want in a good fantasy book. The magic system is like nothing I have read before. Highly recommend. P. S. I listed to the audio and read it on KU, thanks Spotify premium. The audiobook is very well done.
The end of this series did not disappoint and brought on the tears. Nightmare and Elspeth will always have a place in my heart. I loved the characters, the unique magic system, and the message that love conquers all.

I’ll give Book 2 a try just to see if any of the plot holes get filled. But have low hopes.… (more)
This was a great series! Though I did like the first book better than the second (despite what most of the review say). It's a nice light read that keeps you intrigued.
