I really enjoyed this one, even though it's more of a teen read then an adult book.
But it features Robin of Loxley (although very briefly), and I'm a sucker for anything Robin Hood related.
Nevertheless, the whole book gives off a proper historical vibe (even though it features mostly fictional and legendary characters). I'd even go so far as to call it a junior version of a Bernard Cornwell book. It has all the historic elements, and the action, but less bloodshed and gruesomeness.
Would definately recommend this book to anyone who likes historical medieval fiction, and looking forward to read the rest of the series.
