I received an ARC of this book from the publisher. My first thought while reading this was "This is why I never go back to my hometown" lol. The story is fast paced. I love Murphy as the main character. I can really appreciate the author making her go to community college before making a decision to enter a four year school. I feel like that isn't talked about enough and it's nice to help remove some of the stigma. I loved the overall story. I remember feeling just like Murphy in college. It's hard being young and in school and trying to figure out life. At first I was like "wow Ellie is so selfish" but throughout the story her character progressed and changed and I loved to see it. This was the perfect read for the start of the holiday seasons.… (more)
