The Stanley Holloway Monologues by Stanley Holloway

I am old enough to have heard Stanley do these monologues and know of the comic tradition it came from. I have even heard students in pubs do them but 30 years ago when it was eccentric even then. But done with the right timing and tone there are pure comedy.
