God what an awesome collection! It's funny to see what gets Al Jaffee's goat over the years. Roller skates in the 60s, Jamie Lynn Spears in the 00s, but then some of them are downright BLEAK and COLD too! I love these illustrations so much!

One of the more memorable Mad Magazine books. There are some classics here, and Jaffee's illustrations are always hiding a thing or two that perhaps you didn't notice when you read this when you were 12 years old. I love the 36 ice cream flavors, for instance.

A demented collection of classic Mad Magazine cartoons. Al Jaffee was one of the premier cartoonists of the magazine's long history. He is in fine form in this little paperback. Found at a garage sale for a pittance, and couldn't resist.

I first met Al Jaffee's work as a kid reading Mad Magazine. This collection of cartoons comes from another, but parellel, universe. Be sure to read the preface first. As always, his "stories" have a little twist to them. If you haven't seen any Al Jaffee (What! Of course you have.) he can be thought of in the same breath (boy, that's a lousy piece of wording) as Chas Addams, only usually not quite so dark. This one is going into my bathroom library to amuse my visitors.
