Another comic for 50 cents and worth the price tag. I liked the cover, very eerie and the title made me chuckle.

The story line is interesting but I don’t think I care much to figure out why this kid is a wolf and why his family lied to him about it.

I liked the artwork, I’m all about neat drawings and facial expressions and both were spot on here. If I come across it in a bargain bin I’ll get it, but I won’t be actively looking for #2.

Yeah, I didn't like this. Not the story, or the artwork. And it was ridiculously short. I read it in about 5 mins and there wasn't enough detail in the panels to stretch the story further.

After IDW's other rather great Samurai Jack runs, this was a huge disappointment. Primarily because of the artwork, which is utter trash. The story itself has a decent premise, an OK excecution (but nothing special, and it is greatly hampered by the terrible art), and an unsatisfying lack of closure in the ending. It remains at its heart a rather decent notion for a Samurai Jack story, and is also an incredibly quick read, so isn't a complete waste of time for a die hard fan. But honestly, it's close. One small redeeming treat is the (very short) art gallery by various artists in the back of the book, and the rather cool issue covers by Michael Avon Oeming.… (more)
