Soon she becomes the _target of an assassin, finds herself gaining unusual powers, falling for her guardian, getting dragged into a rescue mission and doing lots of fighting and time jumping. Reporter Jane Colby responds to the scene of a grotesque murder that even the cops have trouble dealing with. Returning home afterward she finds a man and a talking wolf in her house with a story about coming from the future to protect her from the serial killer who's work she has just returned from. She is on the killer's hit list. The story was suspenseful between sex scenes. There was some humor particularly around the talking wolf and her pet cat. However, it could have used a good editor; lots of grammar mistakes threw me out of the story and the time travel concepts didn't really seem believable.… (more)
