Short biography
A native of Bayonne, NJ - the fabled birthplace of George R. R. Martin - Joseph Lallo is an unlikely entry into the world of literature. After a childhood spent daydreaming and reading, he fully intended to pursue a career in the tech sector. He received a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from NJIT, and subsequently got a job working IT for a large healthcare corporation. Things changed when, in January 2010, his friends finally convinced him to publish the story that had accumulated over the course of a decade of spare time. That story, now known as the Book of Deacon Trilogy, was a surprise hit, and once he got a taste of the world of indie writing, he was hooked. Now he splits his time between crunching numbers at his day job, writing novels at night, and writing articles and reviews for BrainLazy.com, a group blog he helps run. His latest novels are Bypass Gemini and Unstable Prototypes, the first two books of a science fiction series.

I was surprised how much I liked it - I think it too k me a minute to get out of Fantasty and in-to Science Fiction... but it was a great read overall - I ended up liking the Lex character (who actually does become a character ...) slow start - but it comes together nicely... looking forward to the sequal as a quick read - and will definately look into this guy's fantasy.

Much better than I expected. I really enjoyed both of these books (introduced to this writer through StoryBundle) and will definately read the next one when it comes out... the stage is set! theyre will be more! eh!

it was okay. in the final scenes it was a bit hard to keep up with who was doing what - perhaps it was because I was reading in electronic format -but there were not separations between action transitions and it jumped around quite a bit. Its an okay story...

part of galactic empires, edited by patty jansen.
i admit, i love gadgets. combine that with interstellar travel, interesting and flawed characters, a good plotline, a mad scientist with a sane AI, and a whodunit, i was entranced.
