Missy, held captive the longest, needed Angela to guide her. Their captors had taken their shoes away, believing that being shoeless would keep them from running away.

They were wrong.

Remembering that she’d seen a warehouse only a couple of blocks away, she led the others toward what she hoped would be a safe place to hide.

What will happen to this group of abandoned, forgotten, and abused? Can they find their way to a brighter tomorrow?
