A cute little book about Nellie Bly, the first woman reporter. The book is simple and quick. It does not cite any sources, however, so definitely pick a different book if you're doing any research on the topic.
I didn't realize this is a child's book. However, even an adult can enjoy cool pics of ants and read about army ant habits. Did you know they never build a nest, but interlock their bodies to form a moving nest?
Clearing through one of the many piles in my life and found this little gem......i have no idea where it came from or why it was even in my house, however.......i was intrigued enough to begin a quick flip through.....and it being a younger audience educational book, the next thing i knew, i had read the entire book! I think CREEPY would be the first word that comes to mind......ok, these are very weird little buggers...and a bit scary. This light look into their existence was certainly informative, but likely has created more questions than answers in my mind. There is likely some Googling in my future......if you encounter this, and have 10 minutes....why not? You will never look at an ant the same way!!… (more)
