Most people already know the tragic story of Vincent Van Gogh. They know of his talent and of his struggle, but few know his life as it is described in this book. By including the relationship between Vincent and his brother, Theo, the book showcases more than just a great artist with a troubled mind. Summary: This book tells the story of Vincent Van Gogh. It touches on the importance of his relationship with his brother, Theo. It tells of his struggles and the people and places that influence his art. This book also has some great illustrations.

Personal Reaction: I liked this book because of the illustrations. The illustrations are bold, colorful and very appealing. Van Gogh is one of my favorites.
