The book describes itself as being "3001 warm-hearted thoughts about the things we all love at Christmas." That is what this book is all about. It is as if a group of people sat around a table, brainstorming a list of traditions and memories of Christmas that they love and dividing the list into categories, inserting poems, songs, recipes, and stories here and there.

Since these other people's memories, the reader doesn't always have the same connection. For example:

* sunflower seeds
* Lefton china teacups
* Legos
* lemon cookies

This excerpt taken from the book doesn't contain anthing that I love about Christmas or anything I will ever love about Christmas. But it was important to someone, and it may trigger memories or ideas for someone else.
