This is a look at the early PGA tour years (1958-66) of a legendary golfer through the eyes of his manager and agent. Arnold Palmer was more than a golfing giant; he was also a generational icon who mixed as easily with heads of state as he did with the common golf fan. Mark McCormack's mini-biography of his client is interesting without being gushing in praise. He shows Arnie not only as the golfer, but also the husband, businessman, and citizen.

At this point, it's a little outdated, but certainly useful and rewarding for those who were fans of the great man and who would like a behind-the-scenes look at his life during these years.… (more)
