About the Author
Ed McGaa, Eagle Man is a Teton Oglala Lakota (Sioux), born on the Pine Ridge Reservation. As a Marine fighter pilot he flew over one hundred missions in Vietnam and earned a law degree from the University of South Dakota. He studied under Chief Eagle Feather and Chief Fools Crow, honoured as a six show more time Sun Dance ceremony participant and is now regarded as a world-leader in advocating indigenous wisdoms.
