The Art of Alice: Madness Returns by R.J. Berg
A good read for anyone interested in the work that goes into making an aesthetically pleasing and coherent visual narrative (a video game in this case, but the information is useful to comics, movies, tv, etc). I particularly enjoyed the summaries in each section about what the arguments were about and what directions were chosen while making Alice, and the comments from each of the artists with regards to their own work and why they chose what they did. It's insightful for the creative, and beautiful to look at (as expected)… (more)
